XTI Aircraft is an aviation company that seeks to provide door-to-door air travel to uniquely enhance the efficiency, productivity, safety, and security of forward-thinking travelers. The company is guided by a leadership team with decades of experience and a proven track-record of bringing new aircraft to market. The team has created an aircraft that will be testing at the Northrop Grumman Utah UAS Test Site in Box Elder County.

“XTI Aircraft Co. is very pleased to be testing our large-scale unmanned demonstrator in Utah,” said Bob LaBelle, XTI Aircraft Chief Executive Officer.  “We could not have found a more hospitable environment, including favorable weather conditions and excellent support from local officials and industry.”

The TriFan 600 combines the speed, range, and comfort of a business jet with the ability to take off and land vertically. It will incorporate advanced safety features, including autopilot and computerized controls, and is being designed to reach heights of 30,000 feet above ground level.

Because of these advanced features, the aircraft will be able to pick-up and drop-off passengers right at their front door- literally. This innovative technology has the potential to reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality, and enhance overall quality of life in an environmentally sustainable way.
